Description
X-Stream Aeroponic Heat Propagators
The X-Stream heat lid sits on top of the heated base and maintains the heat and humidity required for successful propagation. As plants develop, the vents in the lid are opened to reduce humidity and gradually harden the plants off, ready for transplanting.
Heat is dispersed evenly across the base, unlike most heated propagators there are no hot or cold spots; so no uneven growth. Temperature is fully adjustable from 5°C to 30°C; allowing growers to adjust the propagation environment to suit their specific grow area.
X-Stream Heat propagators now come with a SunBlaster light fitting lid.

Why they are great…
Aeroponics has long been recognised as the most productive method of growing plants without soil. Instead of absorbing feed and water from running liquid, aeroponically grown plants receive theirs at root level through a fine mist. This introduces large amounts of air into the equation for improved nutrient uptake and better root zone health. Rooting times are vastly reduced and success rates are significantly increased – not only that but root development also greatly improves. Your plants will clearly get the best possible start to life this way.
HINTS AND TIPS
Place the thermostat probe in the specific area of the propagator where you wish to measure the temperature. To set root temperature, place the probe on the base of the propagator. To set air temperature, suspend the probe in the propagator through one of the adjustable vents.
To reach and maintain desired temperature sooner, avoid placing a heated propagator on the floor.
If setting desired air temperature, be aware that the temperature of the base (and therefore, the roots) will be 1°C – 2°C above the temperature of the air.
